A message from Dr. Boaen
I became an orthopedic surgeon because I appreciate and honor the patient/physician relationship and specifically the athlete/sports surgeon relationship. Being an orthopedic surgeon provides the unique opportunity to meet patients in their need, frequently at a low point in their life, and partner with them to return to function, to work, to athletics or recreation, to whatever they love to do, and ultimately to help them become whole again. I am humbled by the opportunity to come alongside you in your journey back to health and wholeness.

Our commitment to you as a patient is that we will listen to you and treat you with the dignity and respect that everyone deserves, we are partners in this process of healing. We have a deep respect for the intricacies of the human body, its design, and its ability to heal. Our job as an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist is to use whatever non-operative methods we can to assist you and your body to heal. If surgical intervention is necessary, our job becomes to use the least invasive method possible to fix/repair (sometimes replace) and hold things back in their place in order to allow your body to do the healing. It is a team effort between us, you as the patient, and often a physical therapist, occupational therapist, athletic trainer, etc. Each of our participation and commitment is vital to the success of treatment.

Our highly trained surgical coordinator team will work with you to maximize your benefits and minimize your personal investment. We will always submit to your insurance on your behalf.
